To be reliable service providers for our customers - that has been our motivation for 25 years: having founded the company in 1989 as an engineering firm for plastics technology, Rudolf Schmid and his son Matthias initially supported clients with advice on designing formed parts and making moulds and operating equipment. Over the years, this developed into two areas of focus: operating equipment design and project management tasks in the construction of custom machines for plastics processing. Today, our family business, IfK Automation GmbH, continues to operate under the motto 'Set up at the client's premises ready to use - All from a single source', and is now regarded as a reliable maker of plant of machinery by customers at home and abroad.
